Fired the first 60 rounds through a new Glock 17 Gen 4 this morning. Cleaned and started to reassemble. The inner recoil spring is bound up tight.
Absolutely no movement. This of course prevents reassembly!

I Called Glock and the tech rep said some G17 gen 4's had the wrong recoil spring installed on initial assembly! He said he'd put a new recoil spring in the mail.

Just in case, check to make sure the spring is seated all the way, sometimes if its not seated it will stick out the front or bind. If you shoot it like that it will break the spring. So just check to make sure its seated all the way down in the semi circle that its supposed to sit in.
