Nice

Thanks Indy.
Doc I don't think so. Since my collection shrunk by three after my last divorce I don't bring them to the house.

Don't mean to ruffle any feathers but, can someone please explain to me what the fascination with all things Glock is about??? I mean I like certain types of guns too, but I don't like something because it has a certain name on it. So, explain to me what is so unbelievably great about these things, compared to, I dunno, a Springfield XD.
No disrespect meant. Thanks.

No disrespect inferred. Well, I have 15K through that 21 and the only malfunction I've ever had was due to a bad mag spring that I should have checked. I've never had a malfunction on the others. It's not the name. It's reliability. The fascination is having the originator. I'll take S&W M&P9, 40 or 45 as well. They are the same but the M&P will be less expensive. I haven't bought a new one since the new M&Ps came out. To be honest Glock is also the only foreign trade I purposely engage. DOS bought Glocks and H&Ks for troops to use in Iraq. There were some other 1911s as well. The Glocks fared the best in that environment. Oddly the M9 came in second. Those results were likely due to lack of requirement for regular maintenance.
On to your XD comment. I have discontinued business with Springfield. I own two Springer 1911s from before the Croatian project. I was like most people thinking the XD would be great until I read the whole story. I have no respect for any American company that takes business overseas. The first series of those also netted us with several trips to send the defective ones back. Not good for a small business in a small town. I expect that sort of quality control from Jimenez; not Springfield. Also, if I want a 1911 grip angle and safety I will use one of my 1911s.

Unless it's painted or it's in OD Green or something, other than for size, they're all identical.

Agreed. Unless we're going to play guess the generation or name the accessories game. I took new pics so I posted them.
