Pick only one!!
Hey guys, i gotta question for you. If you could only have one handgun; which one would you take? To make it a little less broad, lets exclude the famous 1911:p. I just got finished watching a video, and the guy chosed the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _:eek: Be careful which one you pick cause you can only choose one!

To start it off, i would have to pick my g23. Reason is, i know its reliable, i can ccw and hd with it. Its a .40 so it has stopping power, i can find parts anywhere for it, and i can strip it down all the way and put it back together again....there i said it:cool:

This is a really difficult decision. I was going to consider the 1911, but since that's not optional I'm going to go with the Glock 27. The reason for my choice is, becuase the .40 has stopping power, versatility, it's very easy to maintain the Glock, and Glock has its legendary ability to function flawlessly.

Had the 1911 been an option I'd be torn between the two :o.

Why do you exclude the 1911?

Since no 1911...I will say my Bersa Concealed Carry Pro. It's a .45 ACP with a double stack mag 7+1. Ultra reliable.

I'd choose my G23, easily concealable, yet more than powerful enough to get the job done and will accept G22 magazines. I can strip it down and completely rebuild it if necessary...without having to fit anything.

I don't understand the No 1911a1 Rule so BHP
Hello all,RON L here

I quckly read this post, so maybe I meeded something?I don't undertand the elimination of 1911a1? In that case lets go with Runner up # 1, another JOHN Moses Browning design the P-35 or commonly known as Broowning High power, you can have it in 9MM Luger or 40 cal if thats your wish? Wonderfull ergonics, hanling is good, easly repaired and parts found! No Offecnce Glock loversm No Glock for me? LOL

I guess if I can't have a 10mm 1911 I'll have to go with my Security Six and pray I don't run into a bear.

S&W mod 65. It's more comfortable to CC than my 1911, and it's the most versatile caliber for plinking or self defense (.38/.357) IMHO.
