Yea my wife's bottle of polish remover haha I think I got it now put a little oil after cleaning the surface I painted with finger nail paint better she shined back up

You guys have just about convinced me to color fill my glock 20. But I keep thinking back to my sks and remembering what a pita it was. Lol

The Glock is alot easier. I took my slide off and just caked on the nail polish and let it dry for awhile. Since you have the slide off you can use nail polish remover with acetone in it. The acetone will discolor the polymer, so that is why I took the gun apart.

Ah ok I was under the impression the acetone could hurt the finish. I'm happy to hear that's not the case.
