Would it make a difference if a prosecuting attorney showed it to a jury? Who knows.
But that's not a chance I'm willing to take. I have some jolly roger base plates for Glock mags I use at the range, but I keep my CCW and home defense shotgun stock. I'm not saying 'don't do it' but why take the chance?
