non-jacketed lead bullets

Can I shoot non-jacketed lead bullets out of my glock? Thanks

Glock

NO. Unless you want bad things to happen. See glockkb.com for more info. You must replace the barrel with an aftermarket cut rifled barrel to shoot plain lead.

Including GLOCK.

Please don't try it!

Glock barrels were originally designed for combat rounds ( full metal jacket ) and the barrels do NOT handle lead bullets well at all. In fact, some guns have been destroyed trying to fire lead bullets.

Why in the world you would want to is beyond me, but if you MUST shoot unjacketed lead, please buy a non Glock barrel designed to handle it.

The "polygonal" rifling in the glock barrel is innovative, but it accumulates lead quickly. Either replace it with an aftermarket barrel or stick to clad bullets -

Is it time to restart the controversy on reloading Glock-fired cases...? ;)

Yup, do yourself a favor. Buy an after market barrel, shoot lead bullets and be happy, I did.

It also shoots jacketed bullets better than the Glock barrel.
