I had a G22, 1st gen, years ago, but in a time of severe financial anemia I had to sell it. Of all the pistols I've owned--I'm more a revolver guy, but have owned more pistols than wheelers--the .40 Glock was the only one that never, ever hiccuped. I loved that gun, but now live on a very small fixed income and can't replace it.
To me it looked, in terms of ballistics figures and history in actual shootings involving LEO's, as if the .40 S&W combined the best features of 9mm and .45 ACP. If I could buy a 23 I damn sure would. I think you'll like yours a lot.
