Hello,
After 300 rounds (3 times @ range) I have to say WOW! This gun is a pleasure to shoot, simple to break down and clean. I used Magtech for the 1st 200 rds and then Winchester for the last 100 rds I only had 1 problem thus far I had a round (Winchester) chamber but not fire I pulled the trigger and nothing so I ejected that round and the rest fired without a hitch would you say this was a bad round I put it off to the side and loaded it in the next magazine and it fired I cleaned the gun after each range session per the manufacturers instuctions, maybe it was operator error. What would you guys recommend for some good indoor range target shooting ammo? Thanks for your advice and expertise in advance.

UMC burns good. You can get it a Dick's Sporting Goods at Town Center (Except for today, it seems...)

I like Federal ammo. Winchester is fine, though.

In the past, Glocks have had problems with the hard primers on some ammo.

I has a G19 that made an apparent light hit on a primer when new. After break-in, it never happened again.

Tip : Keep crud and oil out of the striker channel ( but you knew that ).

I have shot over 5,000 rounds, mostly reloads with all brands of primers and never had any trouble.

Gratz on the 19, that is my most recent purchase also... I have shot 300 rds of Speer 100grain target ammo, and 200 rds of winchester 115gr. No probs, gun is light and accurate! Love it!

Thanks for all the replies I used the last of the Winchester ammo I had another FTF with them after that I purchased some Federal and shot 100 rounds no problems I will try and order the UMC ammo (thanks gorknoids) when available and try those as well. I've been going to the range twice a week and I'm getting very comfortable with shooting the glock when I purchased it they gave me a free membership to my local MC range so I have been taking full advantage of that

Thanks for the advice. I stopped by Town Center and picked up some Federal ammo they were out of stock of UMC. I shot 100+ rounds of it this week and its working well.

Wally World / Winchester white box is not recommended by a lot of gun manufactures. It's not the best ammo around just cheap. Unfortunately it is the most available. Ever line up WWB ammo from the same box next to each other and notice the lengths vary? Find yourself another brand.
