Well I like the 10s but think the ammo is priced too high. I carry a model 22 in 40S&W because I can afford to shoot it frequently and I believe you should practise and then practise some more.

Go with a glock 23, controllable and concelabe I, and I've owned a lot of different brands of pistols, s&w, cz,berretta,star, colt and ruger. The Glock rates right up there with the best.

This is my first post guys so bear with me. I am looking for a personal hand gun. Looked at a new Glock 22c, what would be some pros and cons of this model.

The 22 is a great gun. It is the same size and heft of the original G17 that started it all except it is a .40 vs the 9mm. I personly find it a joy to shoot. As far as concealed carry goes if your a big fella you may find the 22/17 comfortable but I much prefer the 19 or 23 for carry. I am rarely without my model 23. It handes with the authority of a full size weapon. Mine rides in a stongside belt or IWB and disapears under a coat, vest, untucked shirt or sweatshirt. I am not sure about the compensated version for your first one. I think it is more practical for compitition that personal defense. I have owned a dozen handguns prior to settling on this G23. It is hands down the best I have owned.

My preference is the Glock 36 ( .45 acp ). I plan to look at the Glock 21SF. Good luck!
