Default Magazine suggestions?

I have a Gen3 Glock 19 and I was wondering what mag option is best, I don't plan on CC with either, these are mostly for the range, maybe a SHTF situation.

G17 mags with a +2 baseplate or G18 33 rounders? I realize that there is almost ZERO chance that I'll ever need that kind of capacity, what I'm asking is if I'm going to spend the cash on mags, is it worth the few extra dollars for the hi-caps and do I lose anything by using them over normal capacity mags?

If they are a good choice, then is there a semi descrete mag pouch for the 33 rounders?

I have 2 those 33 rounders hi cap mags. Only used twice in 6 months. Basically it's true as you said, we will barely use them. I'd suggest just get the normal G19 mags. 15+1 is good enough IMO.

I say get the hicap mags. I plan on getting two of them just for range visit. I really hate reloading bullet into the mag. 33rds is like shooting two g17 mag then reloading them again. You see where I'm going. More time shooting, less time roloading.

My hubby has a G35 but he bought a conversion barrel so he can shoot .40 or 9mm. It's real easy to switch the barrels too. It's like having two guns in one.

I love my G23 it has a lot of custom work self done 2 it, for 13rd of .40 in a mid sized , small enough 2 hide, large enough 2 carry its awesome shoots like a dream, my next glock will b a g17 or a g 22 I would love a full sized 2 tone glock (black/desert tan) .40 but 9mm are so much cheaper 2 shoot. 22rd mags in my G23 just makes it nice , im currently doing mods 2 my G30 it will b 12rd of .45cal (+2 mag extensions) and have some work done but it's awesome like it is ...

I like the normal 15 round mags...have you looked at and KCI mags? They're cheap but reliable.

I would only buy factory mags , guaranteed 2 work / will work, and worth money over a off brand cheap mag ... I like the idea of the g17 with + 2 mag extension makes it like the "sig sauer X5" of the glocks but idk if the 17 with + 2 will fit flush like it should in a g19 u might have a gap..
