I'm no fan of the GLOCK pistol and doubt Id ever own because the ergonomics simply do not work for me... however I have shot dozens of them and other than the crapy trigger, there is nothing wrong with the design.
GLOCKS are no more dangerous than Kahrs, M&P's, XD's, or "insert striker Tupperware here"....
Does it seem like there are far more ND's with GLOCKS than with other brands? Yes it does...
But saying that this indicates a design flaw is like saying Toyota Camry's are more dangerous than Nissan Ultima's because they are involved in more accidents? Never mind that there are 10 times more Camry's on the road than Ultima's.
GLOCK's only problem is that they are a widely issued police sidearm... Meaning that there "majority" users are poorly trained street cops and those civilians who believe that a Cop contract is about anything other than politics and the lowest bidder.
The design itself is no more or less dangerous than any other semi auto pistol on the market.
