Default It's official

I brought the glock home today and can't wait to put a couple hundred round through it tomorrow. I just have a couple questions: is the magazine suppose to have a little wiggle room? Or is it not suppose to move when it's locked in the mag well? My other question: is the tip if the stock guide rod suppose to spin?

Yes and yes. The magazine in my g23 wiggles some. The tip of the guide rod spins on mine as well. Mine has around 1500 rounds through it and never any problems.

Well I haven't fired it yet, that's why I'm asking.

Fired 210 rounds through it yesterday and ran perfectly, no hiccups, very accurate. I just need to keep practicing. Took it home and did a (unnecessary) detail strip and cleaning and for being my first time even stripping any weapon, it was very easy. Thanks for all your help guys.

No problem, enjoy. And I clean my guns even after firing a single shot, a clean gun is a reliable gun!

Edit to my last post: unnecessary detail strip, necessary cleaning.
