Infamous Glock 19 search

I have posted about this before and have seen other posts on this topic. I have been seeing all these people acting like they are everywhere... All you have to do is look. Well I have been searching. What I want is help some brothers out lets get a list of none price gouging shops that for sure have them in stock and are willing to ship. Lets try to help out people who have been looking for months. Trust me from a person looking himself it would be greatly appreciated .

I looked for over 2 months. I had to settle for the 17 :( I love my 17 but I would've been happier getting what I actually wanted.

They are easy to find in Florida. Sorry about the laws where you live, I have no suggestions.

I can imagine Chicago is going to prove rather difficult. I wish my LGS shipped and I would give you there info. It does seem that there are areas where they are more plentiful than others.

I luckily only had to look around for a week before I found one. It was pure luck though. I almost settled on a G30 because I have been considering expanding from 9mm only to .45 here and there but I am much happier with getting what I originally set out for.

My LGS did not even know they were getting the 19s in. They were from an order back in JANUARY and they thought they were still a few weeks out at least. Not sure how much the situation has improved in a week but last I heard Glock had some ~80,000 units on backorder. :/ My advice would be to call every store around a couple times a week to check on the stock (most get new stock in daily or a few times a week) or even better, go in the store frequently. Sometimes something may come in and literally get bought up as soon or before it even hits the shelf. Good luck!

What about gunbroker? I just looked and their prices have already come down.

+ 1 on gunbroker.com (almost 100 G19s for sale there right now) - I've purchased a couple of guns through their site and had them shipped to a local gun shop. Of note, shipping and transfer fees are not always cheap but sometimes it's worth it to get exactly what you want.

G19s, if you know the right guy, go for no more than $550 in my area. Do some research before parting with your money. If your FFL takes shipments from Florida, PM me.

I paid $535 for a gen 3 two months ago. They are out there. Keep looking and be patient. A week ago they had gen 3's for a little over $500 brand new with no bids on gunbroker.
