Stay away from lead bullets if you reload.
The biggest issue with assembling an AR isn't so much getting the parts together right - it's getting the right parts together.

Stay away from lead cast for sure,but i would say if your going to shoot reloads just get a reputable brand.whenever i worked for the dept of corrections we shot Glock 17s and all they bought was reloads.i cant remember the brand but they were just boxed loose in a bright orange box of 50rds. They usually ordered bulk of 20,000rds each time. We went through tons of ammo
