Stay away from lead cast for sure,but i would say if your going to shoot reloads just get a reputable brand.whenever i worked for the dept of corrections we shot Glock 17s and all they bought was reloads.i cant remember the brand but they were just boxed loose in a bright orange box of 50rds. They usually ordered bulk of 20,000rds each time. We went through tons of ammo

I don't disagree; I don't shoot reloads or lead. However, I've about got 20,000 rounds through my Glock 17 (4th gen), and it shows no signs of stress, nor have I ever had any issues with it. I expect my G27 to function similarly, and I would trust my life to either of my Glocks.
