Default Impossible to find a Glock 19

I have heard so many great things about Glock and have finally saved up some cash and went on the hunt for my first Glock. Looked every where online, local shops. I'm in the suburbs of Chicago and I am finding them impossible to find. When I do find them they want like $800 for it....

It's always when you have the money that what you've been waiting for is unavailable. I have a gen 4 G19. Absolutely love it. I'd recommend waiting till the madness dies down a bit. Maybe another month or 2. I paid $499 for mine about 6 months ago. If you do decide to wait it'll be worth it. IMO it's not worth an $800 price tag.

I heard a rumor at my LGS that Glock has over 500k units on backorder! And over a million magazines!

Not impossible to find, but be prepared to open up your wallet. They now sell for $750 on GunBroker

Right now is a tough time to buy due to the current environment. I would keep my eye out on local gun trader boards for local sale.

I too have been looking at the G19. My LGS did have two of them, Gen 4 for $550, and a Gen 3 dark earth for $525. I was going back and forth for a while, then decided on the gen 3, but now they are gone! I'm kicking myself....

My LGS got 25 glocks in a couple weeks back. All gone in 5 days. 0 in stock at this point and can't even get anymore for the case. I paid $529 for my G30 about 10 years ago. It still sells for $500 in a normal market. Here in Atlanta they are commanding $750 or more currently. I'd sit on the cash and wait for the hysteria to die down.

I havent seen a Glock on any of the shelves of my 2 LGS's in weeks, probably going on 2 months by now. Just wait it out. I always wanted a G19 for a backup carry gun but I am NOT paying over $600 for one
