Everyone you've been listening to must be 1911 fan boys.

i think i have asked you this before, but i think you forgot to answer it, just how old are you again?
Studied history? Yes. I've probably studied a whole lot more than you have. 2 college degrees and I still study and learn a lot more than just about firearms..

You keep bringing up the point that 1911s have been around for many years...
That does NOT add any credibility to your statement.

You still haven't made a case for why the 1911 is a better pistol.
All you've said is that it's been around for a long time, it looks better, it's not "plastic", etc.
None if which make it "better".

I agree that with firearms, personal preference is huge. And yes, plenty people 'prefer' 1911. They're awesome. But it doesn't make them better.

I'm not saying they aren't reliable. I'm sayin they aren't AS reliable. I'm not sayin they aren't good. I'm saying they aren't AS good.
Wayyyy more people prefer 1911s...I get it

But you still haven't made a case for why it's better.
You just halfway insult me and then try to prove you have so much knowledge because you're old.

To answer your question I'm 26.
So now you can answer my question..

If you took 100 Glocks and 100 1911s and shy 10,000 rounds through them each. Which group of pistols would have less malfunctions...?

@(@(&/&-"!!!!! This thread was DEAD! DEAD I TELL YOU!

If you shot 100,000 rounds through 200 guns all you would have is ear damage, carpal tunnel and a BLOODY TRIGGER FINGER!

Nobody said anything.....about Glocks until you posted about your bacon dog who needs dentures.

What did somebody forget to engage their safety and shoot the dogs front teeth out? Or are we blaming that on the Glock shooters?

I agree, but I wouldn't have got to see the show! Nothing better then watching two grown men act like 3 year olds. But I'm done! I still think that the one you own and believe in is the best. But that seemed to get dwarfed by power to prove an opinion!! Peace!!

Let me put it into terms that everyone will understand.

You cannot prove that one gun is better than the other. You just can't. If you could, these debates would have been over with a LONG time ago. Now stop arguing about something so freaking stupid! It's ALL personal preference.

Now let this abomination of a thread die in peace!
