Default I cant shoot with the short reset?

I noticed yesterday at the range that when I used the short reset, I had flyers; particularly low. However, when I let the trigger return all the way, my grouping was much better? any idea why?

I can only guess there may be a slight change in the position of the pad of your fingertip as its touching the trigger face during reset. Just a thought.

A lot of the time it's jerking the trigger or anticipating recoil. If you are returning the trigger all the way and restarting the trigger pull from scratch each round then you are probably pulling the trigger slower and smoother eliminating the jerk or anticipation of recoil. Do whatever allows you to be more accurate.. depends on what you are shooting for too, self defense, plinking, competition.. each one has a standard for trigger pulls.
