Hydra-shoks or SXT

Can anyone tell me about which is a better round for a 9mm, Hydra-Shoks or Winchester SXTs??

The SXT 127 gr +P+ is arguably the baddest 9mm round available

Thank you. Which grainage?

They are both solid performers. I would suspect that the person shot with one of each would be hard pressed to tell them apart.
Get the one that works best in your pistol. The first priority is reliability. The baddest round ever made is worthless if your pistol won't cycle it reliably.

I will be in the gun shop today shopping do rounds.

Buy enough to properly test them in the gun you are going to shoot them from. As stated above, reliability is a must. I don't carry any ammo that has not proved itself in my guns. I usually shoot a minimum of 200 rounds just to insure that the ammo feeds and works every time and I get to know where the rounds hit on the target.

I presume you are referring to the Winchester Ranger-T (Product No. RA9TA) ammo ?

We DO NOT recommend feeding any of our pistols a steady diet of this type of ammo due to the excessive pressures that CAN cause excessive wear on the weapon.
Occasional use, no problem...just use some regular rounds when you ain't loaded for Gangsters...
