personally i have never owned a Glock, but have shot many of them over the years. i have just found other pistols that fit my hand better, so i have never owned one. would i buy a Glock? it depends on if the right one comes along at the right time and price. they are a reliable pistol that does what a pistol is suppose to do. and i will say this, my first love of pistols is and will always be 1911's, but i own other pistols for different reasons also.
best advice is, try one out and see if it suits you. if it doesn't fit your hand well, then there are probably better choices than the Glock. try out several different brands of pistols. buy the one that fits you well. the better the pistol fits you, the better a shooter you can be.

I have worked for two different law enforcement agencies and I carried a different glock for both. I have never had a malfunction shooting my glocks. Easy to operate and strip down.

I have said it before, but will repeat it
Glock is to pistols, what Mossberg is to pump shotguns.

Am I the only person that actually likes the look of a Glock?! I think I may be. I honestly love the look-seriously. Anyway as an owner of a few Glocks besides the smaller awkward feeling grip of the G17-the G30 fits my hand well and I shoot well with it. Try a Glock out at the local range.

I've had the oportunity to shoot a lot of different guns before I decided to get my own, I just always liked how they felt and shot them well so that's what I bought. Love shooting my G19 an one of my range buddies is saving up for one after shooting mine a few times.
I've got about 2500 or more rounds through it without any malfucnctions of any sort..
It's all about personal feel though really. Get what feels good to you an you shoot well with.

I like my Glock 31, it's a reliable handgun and I've never had any misfires through it that I recall. If I did, it was probably the ammo that caused it. I really like the safety system on a Glock, it's one of the best going IMO. On the other hand I also have a 1911 and I love the way it fits my hand. It just handles better for me but of course that's just my personal opinion. As everyone else has said, it really boils down to what works best for you. I've shot a lot of pistols in my day and there were very few, if any, I didn't enjoy shooting and like at least something about them.

I have several hand guns that have never malfunctioned, one is a cheap Ruger P95, ALL guns will malfunction at some point if they are used enough. Is your FBI friend issued his sidearm or is able to choose what he carries?

I carry a gen 4 glock 22. It fits my hand perfectly, shoots well and is reliable. Out of all of my pistols the g22 just feels right and the trigger is excellent. Reset is easy to feel and sight picture easy to retain shot after shot. It has retired my other carry pistols.
Shoot many until you find what fits you perfectly. I don't subscribe to brand myopia or fanboy status, the glock just fits for me. Easy to strip and clean and goes bang every time.
