Grip on G27 vs. G22, why larger??
I carry a G22 on duty, and borrowed a partner's G27 to try this weekend. Shot well, a little snappier than my 22, but a good gun and I liked it. However, I have a small hand and I can't understand why the grip on the 27 is larger than the 22. The grip is about the same size as the G21!
Was it just this gun, or are they all like this? TIA. |

Did he have one of the crappy Hogue Hand-Alls on it?

No, grip looks the same as any other Glock, no added anything. I liked the gun and shot well with it, and will mostly get one, but would certainly prefer to have one with a grip like my 22.

It has to do with the geometry of the grips. The "fat" part of each is about the same, but by shortening the overall length of the 27, it removes the skinnier part of the grip, which makes it "fatter".
A good grip reduction (mine is by Robar and is excellent) will make it way better. |
Can you tell me more about the grip reduction?? Do they have a Web site?
