Are Glocks any good is like going to a hot rod forum and asking if anybody likes Chevys.

65% of the world's duty side arms, by some counts, are Glocks.

They are as good as any other handgun, BUT not any better than any other.
The only thing Glock does better than most other manufactures is marketing.
Many people 'worship' them, but most of those are people who have a limited experience with A LOT of other handguns.

Consider that if a firearm has been on the market for a while, then it must be good.

Those that come on the scene with a big "hoopla", then quietly disappear, may not be "good". If they were, they would be readily available (Kel Tec PMR-30 for example).

A company would not stay in business if their products were not up to customer standards.

Well assuming you aren't trolling... Yes, very good. Depends what your use is though. If you want a gun for self defens ethat will always fire and rugged, then definitely. If want a plinker, target shooter, or anything involving being dead accurate out of the box- maybe not. I carry one everyday for protection but for the range I'd recommend something else.

Default Are glocks any good

Well i will start by saying Glock must be one of the most contreversial weapons of modern times. You either love em or hate em i used to hate em now i love em. I will explain I used to think awwww glock is so bulky golly how and why would you carry that brick. So that being said a good buddy of mine talked me int trading for a g26 for those of you who dont know thats the sub-compact 9 mm so i carried it in a inside the pants holsted and ill be it wasnt bad and it shot verry accuratly for such a short barrel. Eventually i got rid of it because thats what i do. So about a year ago i obtained a g23 midsized .40. Well i carry that thing on a belt with spare mags and a sog multitool every time i step foot in the woods. Ive shot it dirty got it muddy dropped it taken small game with it with accurate head shots and plenty of snakes hince the original reason for carrying a pistol. So like i said i put this gun thru hell if gotten it muddy sandy dirtyyou name it i leave it in the back floorboard of my truck where it gets stepped on and you know how i clean it i dip it in the drink and shake off the water and shoot it to dry it out and ive never had a hiccup burp or misfire and the finish has held up beautifually it still looks brand new cleaned up with the exception of a lil holster wear witch looks more like a high gloss shine than wear. I would trust my life to this weapon so if you ask me a Glock is not a good gun but an exceptional one.
