Problems ?? Really not any to talk about. The only problem I have ever had with any of my 4 Glocks is ammo. I bought some reloads from a gun show and they jammed in the gun. They jammed in mine and my buddies glock 17. I have shot just about every kind of ammo out of my gun and it goes BANG everytime. I have shot Wolf ammo, PMC, Hornady, Federal, Winchester, Remington, Black Hills, and CCI just to name a few. They all shot well just the relaods from the gun show that were in a Ziploc bag were not good rounds.

Agreed on ammo. I bought silver bear hollow points and they jammed up my 26. I am going to try them again tomorrow. Not sure if the ammo is just that crappy, or if I need to run my stock guide rod. Currently, I run a glockmeister stainless steel recoil system. Other than the silver bears jamming me up, I have had 0 problems.

The biggest issue with assembling an AR isn't so much getting the parts together right - it's getting the right parts together.
You'll remember the quality of a gun long after you forget how much you paid for it.

The ammo IS that crappy. The steel cases bulge and stick.
To the original poster: Problems? My 2nd Gen 19 has over 200K rounds thorugh it. No problems.
Good choice. Great pistol. It will NOT let you down.

The gen 4's have some issues. The others are good to go. I'd stick with the gen 3's for now which are still being made. The gen 4's can be identified by the removeable back strap. Otherwise the Glock 19 is the finest 9mm pistol on the market in my opinion.

At first I was like "What?" Then the Tupperware reference hit me... Funny.

I have a Gen 1 and Gen 2 Glock17. The only problem I have ever had was with the Gen 1, and it was the ammo. It was the reloads I got at a gun show...cheap ammo. It was Brass case but it must have not been loaded right or something. It jammed my G17 and my buddies G17. All the ammo shot good but the last few rounds were bad. I have shot over 5k rounds through mine and not cleaned it and it still shoots perfect. I have never had a problem out of my Glock from day one..Just have to feed it and it is happy !!!
