Was puzzled on that one myself. I've seen it rounded towards the rear to make clearance for a higher grip, but that one I see no practical reason for.

Yes I like the groove a lot. Did it a little at a time with a round dremel bit. A buddy of mine who shoots 3-gun does it to all of his glocks. I felt his before I did mine. It just gives you a spot for your second hand to rest on the trigger guard. Doesn't look all that good but it's not for looks.

Cool. I've been wanting to do that to my trigger guard but I'm scarred ill F it up lol

You could always make a template or jig for the trigger guard relief. Then you couldn't F it up.

Just go SLOW.. I really don't think you can F it up if you take your time. Take a lil out at a time and keep feeling it out until it feels right to you.
