California, yep that sounds about right. Its a wonder that they dont require the barrels to be filled with lead :-)

I was born in california, glad i got the hell out of there!

Thanks for the info, and laughs guys.

Yup, Cal has a 30 day wait. It's good, for the sake of "cooling down" the occasional murderer, but, whackos are going to obtain guns on the street if they can't legally acquire one.

Looking forward to picking up my new G30!

If you are looking for a concealed carry Glock pistol, why not go with a compact or sub compact Glock. I carry a MOD 23 40 CAL in the winter time and a MOD 27 40CAL in the summer with shorts. I have a full size MOD 22 40CAL, but it's a bit too large and heavy to conceal carry for me. A full size Glock in any model is a bit large and heavy for a concealed carry weapon.

The 40CAL is a good round out of a short barrel. Take a look at the site where the guys did the round testing through different length barrels. It's called "Ballistics by the inch." What say you?

Hey great choice on buying the G30! I have and I carry a G30SF and I love it. Very accurate too..more accurate than I am. For range use and for an additional carry mags, I purchased a G21 13 round mag and an A&G extension to use. Nice to know that you have an additional 13 rounds of .45acp if needed. I suggest you get the same setup.
