Glocks are really neat. They can "field" strip themselves.

My point exactly, look at that 1911 even with a "Blue Pill" load the Colt only blew the bushing and recoil spring. The Glock was completely "Kaboomed" from shooting a lead bullet.

Nice young kid shooting a 1911? Are you joking? That idiot fired the pistol with out the take down lever in place. It did not appear to be damaged.

Good catch - I was wondering how it came apart ? Usually any "issues" w 1911s is due to noob reloader n abuse.

Glocks - there is no such thing as a safe reload - Kabooms are inevitable but they do CYA in their manuals - Factory Loads Only. While they were working on the ergos for ver 3 & 4 they should have fully supported the chamber. Would have put a serious dent in aftermarket barrel sales...

If you put polymer to steel, of course the polymer will be damaged more. I'm just saying nothing is safe from a kaboom.
