I don't know, can we? You called my gun junk, and called other people's guns junk. Try practicing what you preach.

You HAVE done that. For both the 1911 and revolvers.

Only when they are a topic of concern or issues! Never have I rained on people's content and happiness!

If I ask your opinion, I'm open for criticism and praise! If I'm happy and telling you why that should be celebrated more than criticized and made fun of!!

You just admitted you do, in the same post you deny doing it...

You were just plain criticizing other people's guns. Mahall, your not going to convincing me that you don't criticize other people's choices. You've done it to me multiple times, and you done it to others multiple times. S&W, Taurus, 1911s, revolvers, ect. I can attest to you hating on ALL of these, and I know of several other members who could too.

Glocks are fine. In fact they're quite good. And their massive popularity results in more affordable aftermarket parts and accessories. In short, that's why I have a couple.

But I do believe there are similar options that are arguably superior (for my tastes at least). I like prefer the XDm and M&P. I consider FNP, CZ P-07, Ruger SR, Beretta PX, Walther PPQ (among others) to be on about the same level as Glock. They're all just different, some will suit shooters better than others. Buy what works for you. If that's Glock, you've got a good gun at a fair price in my opinion.

In short-

  • New buyers often make the mistake of assuming Glock is the only viable option.

  • Anti-Glockers often make the mistake of implying it isn't a viable option.

I think I will stick with my higher quality, better engineered German pistols. Never liked cheap Tupperware parties anyways. Oh, I owned a Glock 17 long ago. Sold it for something better.

Well I'm sorry if I ever went out of my way to criticize someone else's choice, particularly if they wasn't asking for opinions!

Just a few of your past posts. The text in bold proves that was a lie.

I could find more, but I don't feel like digging through old threads looking for them. It's late, and I'm going to bed.

Sounds like you was on a roll! Why stop now? Heck it's more early than late at this point, at least in my part of the world

You have, a lot. I don't care what you shoot, and I'm glad that it makes you happy, but you will not ever convince me that Glock is anywhere near as perfect as you, and many others claim it to be. That's not to say it's a bad gun. It's a great gun. Not the best though.
