Mahall, THAT is the perfect reasoning to choose any brand. Not because LAPD or your brother-in-law or Joe down the street likes it. Shoot many, choose one, be happy!

Anyway...... Hi, I'm KG7IL and I'm a Glock Hater ... It's been 492 days since I shot my Glock....
This is too funny! Again, no question where you stand and you're happy with that! It's not hate, just a decision. When you start using your children's college fund to steal LEO's Glocks out of their holsters and replace them with Sigs and Colts we'll call it hate.

And I think this is a very accurate reason for why people make ANY choice. Marketing creates hype initially which leads some people to buy an item. Then others buy it because it seemed to work well for everyone else who bought it and I'm lazy and this is a sure-thing so why wouldn't I buy it.
Yeah, I got soundly trounced by my friends here on FTF for disappearing. A hospital stay, spouse losing her job and van engine blowing out caused me to fade and deal with the "Life Happens" events. I'll try not to let that happen again.

Who knew I'd be missed?

I own a 17 and a 42, also own a bunch of "other" guns. Like em or hate em, they are a good value for a reliable handgun. I've shot a lot of guns that were, IMO, better firearms BUT that we're a lot more expensive. Sooo, what's not to like? I see lots of aesthetic based opinions from non owners but as far as dependability, cost, weight, accuracy (the important stuff)., I'm not seeing much in the way of fact based opinions.

I hate it when that happens!

Who wants to hear facts and common sense when pure emotion and prejudice are on a roll?
