I carry a 19 daily and have for about a month, in my opinion its the best of both worlds. With that being said, if I had both, I'd carry the 26. If its strictly carry go 26, if its for anything and everything like mine, I'd go 19.

Can I suggest you look at the 36? I have had all of them and find that the 36 tucks in tighter than my 19, gives me a somewhat better grip than the 26 ...and makes big holes.

I have a 27 and for the money it's an excellent firearm plus it's a joy to shoot

I find it hard to carry conceal a double stack weapon in warm weather. I use single stack .45. If you can look at the G23. I cool weather carry doubl .40

I carry a 19 most of the time and periodically I swap for the 23 just so it don't feel left out. I think that if you put a pinky extender on the 26 or 27 then you are bringing the level of concealability back up near a 19 or 23 only with a smaller round count. So that's why I chose the compacts. That being said the subcompacts are fine, accurate, reliable weapons, just like any Glock.

Very nice combo. If I could only have one, I like dat G23 and the possible caliber change. A G19 will always be a G19. A G23 can become a G19 or a G32. I like that option.

I was carrying my G22 until I got my G27. So far I like the sub for a carry weapon.
