Glock 36, opinions or suggestions.
I saw the Glock 36 with the single stack clip at my local gun store the other day and really liked it. Does anyone own one or shot one to give me some feedback? Thanks, Ed

Ed,
It's a Glock, so of course it's solid and reliable.
The capacity is pretty limited, so in that sense you're probably better off with a 4" 1911 IMO. It will be easier to conceal and you will gain a round.

I just bought a sig sauer 1911 C3, 4 1/4 barrel. So should I just say to hell with Glock 36? You just might have saved me $600. Now I will go look at the Colt that was calling my name as well.

I like the look if the sig 1911s but I've heard they are not 'true' 1911s in terms of parts. How do you like yours?
I'm not saying to hell with the glock, but it just depends on what you intend to use it for. I just meant in terms of a carry weapon the 36 doesn't offer as much as some of the other models.
I personally prefer a 1911 if all else is equal (capacity, etc.). I love my g23 but might not carry it as much if it only held 8 like my kimber.

dude, I have a G36 and it's may everyday carry. I love that gun. 6+1=7 (math lesson for the day), lol, is plenty in my book.
I took me half a day at the range to get the sighting down. Out of the box I was shooting low. A big guy named Joe noticed and offered to point it out to me. He had my raise my gun a bit and as they say, the rest is history. It has no more than kick than other gun you'll shoot. If ammo is a issue, carry a spare mag. now you're up to 13 rounds of .45 acp.
And thanks to all the people who helped out by giving fan service to their 1911's. The man asked about a G36, not some out dated rust bucket.

I think I will pick one up and use it as a backup weapon. I saw a great ankle holster. Then wear my main carry weapon with my IWB holster. Thanks for your help. Ed

Are you trying to be annoying or does it just come naturally?
