I ordered the barrel from midway, it's a Storm Lake barrel. With my "new customer" discount from midway, total was $125.14 after taxes and shipping. Not too bad! Shipping wasn't real fast or real slow, ordered on Sunday night received the barrel Saturday, so about a week. Fit seems to be great, and chamber support is far better than the OEM barrel. Not sure if the increase in chamber support is going to affect the reliability, but I will post some pics and more info as soon as I get to the range!

I polished the barrel a little and now it is as smooth as my glock barrel. Not a single jam or failure to extract yet. the extraction was a little erratic at first but I filed the stop on the extractor to let it move in a little and now extraction is actually better than the 45 was before. wolff 21lb non-captive spring didnt help a thing and it still throws shells a long ways. With the 45 barrel shells barely exits the gun with white box ammo and 21lb spring. The recoil feels the same but the brass really flies on anything 10mm. Others have told me that they have same issue with stock g29. Doesnt feel abusive to the gun at all and no signs of any problems.
