Default Glock 30 vs 23 for followup shots?

After buying a gen 4 21, I have been drunk on the Glock Kool Aid. Now I'm looking for a replacement for my SP101. I'm stuck between a 23 & a 30 (gen 4 because I'm lefty). Which pistol would y'all say would allow for faster accurate followup shots? I plan on using standard pressure ammo for this reason.

Yup, what he said lol. I own both 23 and 30 and I would never part with my 23. With that said, the 30 shoots better; softer. My first time ever shooting it, I shot better than I ever have with the 23.

Buy a G30. Stick with .45ACP. I sold my G23 and bought a Gen 4 G21 and a G30. If you want a G23 consider a G19 instead. A little cheaper to shoot, more ammo choices. Just my opinion.

Well you have a G21 so the G30 makes sense as they're both 45ACP. Good hard hitting caliber but not excessive recoil. And you can share the 13 round mags. You really can't go wrong.

Still, the G23 is my favorite Glock and also is hard hitting with manageable recoil. I really don't see the 40S&W as slower back on target than 45ACP at least in a lightweight like the G30. I have a 1911 but wanted more capacity though wasn't ready to drop to 9mm so chose the G22, G23 and G27. It's worked out well for me plus I can practice with 9mm in the last two using a G23 40-9mm conversion barrel.

Anyway, both 45 and 40 are a great choice.
