Default glock 27

Intersted in a glock 27. Never owned a glock before. How would this stack up against my XD 40 subcompact?

There both good I plan on getting me a Gen4 G27 here sometime real soon just waiting on then to come into the gunshop, I have a Gen 4, 23 and love it, but just want some thing a little bit smaller to carry everyday... but IMHO Id take a glock over the XD any day Im just not a fan of the XD's Grip... but its all up to you and what feels best in your hands...

I'd go handle one and see how it stacks up for you. I love my G27, very glad I got it.

It's really a personal preference. I have a friend who is a SWAT instructor and swears by his M&P 9mm subcompact. He told me all the popular polymer pistols are pretty much the same as far as accuracy and quality. The bottom line is what feels good to you and what comes up to your natural point of aim easily. In my hands, the only gun that feels like a perfect fit is the Glock. Once I cleaned up the trigger action

and fired 200 rounds through both my G-23 and G27 I couldn't be happier. My G-27 has become my favorite daily CCW. Good luck on your choice.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I think I will rent one before I buy. Sounds like the logical choice. Thanks again.

As a Glock-o-holic, 27 is a great gun. It was actually my first Glock pistol 12 years ago. Still have it, still love it.

Can't say anything bad about XDm's though. The wife has a couple and she prefers them over Glock. The trigger is a little mushy for me, but all in all, good reliable guns.
