Gun is functioning fine. Everything is stock. About 1300 through it.

Breaks my heart though. Dropped my opinion of reliability on Glock. This malfunctioning would have been absolutely detrimental in a defensive setting.

Any firearm is a piece of machinery and any machine is subject to breakage or malfunction, even Glocks. I don't consider any firearm 100% reliable and I generally don't consider a firearm broken in until 500-1000 rounds.

Sounds like a good cleaning took care of the issue, no telling what was causing the problem, glad your back up and running!

Total breakdown and cleaning is in order here, then you can check the spring and firing pin. Sometimes oil gets up there and gums everything up. Let us know what you find out.
