Hi point???? Who buys that crap? I have a friend that bought one and the slide wouldn't stay on. He sent it back they sent one that wouldn't shoot a round the firing pin was bent. Lol more like low points.
I have a hi-point .45 that my dad bought 5 years ago and has since given to me. I alone have over 2000 rounds through it since he gave it to me. If I had to guess the total rounds I'd put it somewhere between 4000 and 5000. Not an issue yet other than replacing the recoil spring which I would say is normal for a gun that the slide could be taken off and used as a hammer.

I'm not saying they are all crap but from my experience of two of there .40 cal could have caused some major harm or death if they did fire. Kind of glade that it's a paper wight.

I don't want to make anyone sorry if I did.

That's my 2cents.

Matt

Ran about 70 rounds through my new Lone Wolf 9mm conversion barrel in my 23 Gen4. Worked perfectly. No failures to eject. Actually shot better than with the 40 cal barrel, at least today. Looking forward to running a few hundred rounds through it.

Thanks, good to hear that. I'm planning to get the 40-9 for my 23Gen4 and also use it in my G27 Gen 3. Will pick up a few 9mm mags and test with the stock RSAs at first. Being able to fire 9mm also is too good a deal to refuse.

Hope to shoot a few hundred rounds through the conversion barrel over the next week. Will update if I experience any issues.

I have had no failures to feed with about 1,000 rounds through it. But I wouldn't exactly trust my life to it for self defense.
Why?.......

My guess is you need the proper springs and ejector. I have to agree with him, I'd keep my 23 as a .40 for SD situations. The barrel would be good for range time.
