Default Glock 23 gen 4 jacked up

Ok so I was out at the range today and I had an awkward grinding sound comming from my gun. I took the slide off and didnt notice anything wrong. So I quickly put the slide back on like I have done many times to all my glocks, and I guess this time I didnt line it up perfectly. So heres what im dealing with. See pics.
Any ideas to get it apart. I cant pull the slide back or push it forward.

One thing we need to realize the Glock of today is not the Glock of yesterday. Since Gaston Glock sold the company there has been changes to the weapon because he retained some of the original designs and materials for himself and would not let the new owners use them and not all to the good! Despite what they would have you believe. I have a friend that has been a Master Glock Armorer for over 15 years. He does trade shows and large gun shows here in the USA. And he was very upset over the changes that the new owners have made with the pistol. Including the frame material and the guide rod and etc.

You may have just experienced the failure that initiated the recoil assembly recall/replacement issued by Glock.

Why do people keep saying glom has been sold. That's just a rumor. And thank god gen 4 is not legal in California, I had no choice but to get the awesome gen3

Is there a round in the chamber? If not, are you able to dry fire to release the trigger? The trigger should be back to remove the slide, of course I'm not telling you anything new, we all know that.

I wouldn't be so quick to blame this problem on the Gen 4, I imagine weird things have happened with earlier generations too. My 23 Gen4 has been just as reliable as my older G22 and I'm confident it will continue to be so.

Good luck and I hope you get this resolved quickly, Alpha1victor

Ok so I managed to get it unjammed with the help of Milhouse68. I took off the firing pin cover flip the gun over and hit the rsa downward hard and it popped free replaced the rsa and works like a glock again I wasnt saying it was a gen 4 issue. Just stating the gen for help.

That (removing the rear cover without having access to the firing pin) must have been fun... Glad you got it fixed, Alpha! What exactly did happen to cause this, the slide didn't go on the frame right?

You know, this really had me stumped. Everything lined up perfectly I racked the slide rearward quickly and that was the end result. I really jacked up the firing pin cover. I didnt really care because I had another one.
