Glock 22 lubrication
I always used oil on the slides of my Glock 22(and other pistols also). I have always used grease on my semi auto rifles(M1 Garand, SKS, etc). Does anyone grease there pistols? Would it better than oil?

I run synthetic oil on my guns. Including my Glock.

Glocks are not super tight fit. Greasing is ok, it just won't make much difference. Don't bother, unless the weather is single digits AND you "must" go shooting.

I have a G22 the rails nickel coating wore off to the copper pretty quick. I used hoppes oil from day one. Cleaned and oiled the gun like the manual stated. So I decided to use a thin layer of grease on the rails and oil everywhere else. Seems to be working fine.

Hicock45 has some good instruction on cleaning and lubricating a Glock.

I use very very very light grease on the rails of my ccw guns. Oil I use for range time. Grease doesn't leak out into clothes.

I don't own glocks but they are no different in basic lube needs than any other firearm

Spray mine with g96 wipe and go on.

Doesn't anyone clean their Glocks with Cascade and lubricate them with K-Y Jelly?
