The xdm is more accurate in my opinion, but a glock is more affordable, and upgradeable. I own a glock 22 gen 4 and love it.

I carry a G21 on duty, which is the same size only in 45 Auto, i love it as a duty rig weapon, the G21 and a TLR-3 tactical light, makes for a great combo !

I have a gen 4 g21 also and it is great. Dead on out the box and I love it. I actually like it more than my xdm. But that's a nine. So really can't compare too much to that. The xdm is a lot lighter though. And smaller.

If you buy a glock check and make sure the spring assembly isnt the one glock recalled. Otherwise no problems, its a great shooting pistol.
