When I carried the glock 17 as my duty weapon we had a few problems with the spring rod breaking at the ends and causing the weapon to malfunction. Just a thought.

Thank you for that link, afi1! I had heard of new RSAs but didn't have the info and phone number. Guess I'll call the number and get the new RSA for my 23Gen4.

Haven't had any trouble but if they have a better one why not. I think the bulk of the problems have been with the 17 and 19 Gen4s. At first Glock used the same RSA for 9mm and 40S&W. But the part has also changed for the 40 so it's worth getting.


ETA: Hmmm, I see they want you to return your original RSA. Guess we've got to do a lot of test firing before sending off an old unit that works. I'm not going to be in a hurry to send it back.

I don't blame you for that. Maybe Glock has finally fixed the .40s so they work with lights.

Yeah that was an embarrassment! Haven't tried a light on my Gen4 yet. My G22 is a Gen 2, so no rail/light to worry about!

I've run my G22 with a RLS before, without issue, but I've got the SS guide rod installed. The G23 hasn't given me problems yet.

As far as IWB holsters ive ran the milt sparks summer specials for just about everything i own and their great. I have a crossbreed supertuck for my sig p229 also a wonderfull holster. For the money te milf sparks summer specials arw great and they make them for virtually every gun out there.

Well I called Glock and listened to the recorded speil of a guy who clearly was bored to tears with his job then when I was supposed to be transferred to a living being to get my info -instead got put in the phone tag loop of death. Called back and re-entered the twilight zone. Finally had to send an email and we Glock owners know Glock doesn't do email customer support, at least never before.

Now will wait to see if they respond. Glock clearly isn't interested in customer service no matter what the recording says! Glad I don't have a real problem with my Gen 4.
