Default Glock 22

So I have a glock 22 coming to me in October and it has a ctc laser on it. What I'm looking for is any advise on holsters for it so I can carry concealed and keep the ctc on it. I'm also looking to do a few upgrades to make the gun not only look better but also to make it function better in cqb. Anyone got some advise?

is it the one in the recoil spring or one that attaches to the accessory rail? I would not have a accessory on my ccw if I could in my state its one more thing that can go wrong or get stuck just food for thought.

I was thinking of things like extended mag catch and slide lock. Things like that. My ctc is the one attached on the back strap of the mag well

Has anyone heard about the external safety that just came out for the glock. It looks like any other external safety in that it a push down lever that will disengage the safety and then the gun operates like normal. How do u install and how long will it take

Clocks are pretty darn safe man. That trigger has 3 safes built-in I think.

I would say shoot the darn thing before making changes! You may like it the way it comes from Glock.

Which generation 22? I'm happy with my older one and the only upgrade is night sights. If buying new, I'd skip the Gen 3 and get the 4.

It takes a deliberate pull of the trigger to fire the round. Not a problem if it's holstered. I keep mine with 16 rounds at the ready.
