It's a Federal Law it doesn't meet the point threshold it import for civilian sales. Glock would sell them if they could.

I'm pretty sure I read that the glock .380's were designed for country's that have caliber size restrictions.

I would say a glock 1911 would eather get everybody under one roof or piss everybody off. By the looks of some of your comments, it may be closer to getting everybody together, well, except the wheel guys.

I think it would piss off a lot of the true 1911 fans.

I'm not sure how accurate this video is, but i think I've heard this from another source before. You guys interested in a Glock .380 should check this out.

No, I don't think so. It would get rated just like all of the other manufactures. Some make it near the top. Some make it near the bottom.

If Glock did build one, I don't think they would leave the design alone.

I'm pretty sure that they would try to move the grip safety to the trigger for a "Safe Trigger Action" remove the manual safety, redesign the take down, and make the frame out of polymer.

Why would anyone want a Glock in .380 when the 9mm is already available? The 9mm round is a far better round of ammunition than the .380.

Besides, if you want a polymer frame 1911, buy a Rock River Arms 1911.
