IMO it would benifit you to find a way to shoot both and find what works for you. i Have recently purchased a G19 for my wife.
I haven't had a chance to get to the range with it. My gun of choice is my 3rd gen G21 .
I would suggest the 19. With a "C", you could have a chance with temp blindness due to the flash. At least that's what I've read. I've never shot a "C" but I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express!
