If you get a Glock that is great, keep it & consider yourself lucky. If not, send it down the road & get another one!
I agree with u. All guns have their moments. Man not perfect and man created them. Lol. Everyone has their preference. I just speak from my experience. I have had a few glocks and they have been excellent. They could be prettier tho. Lol.

I certainly agree! I guess they are so ugly that they have a certain beauty; like some bulldogs, etc. I guess they just grow on you. I know that we used to talk about them at the shop where I worked as if they had tails, but after I bought my first one, it's been one after another!

Agree with JD, some dealers are doing anything to make an extra buck.

Chose the Gen 3 Mdl 19 myself--don't care for all the extra BS backstrap crap myself- I figure if the gun don't feel right when I pick it up a few extra pieces of add on change out plastic ain't gonna make it much better--

I still like my Gen 3 guns but I chose the Gen 4 because I like the RTF-2, the extra magazine & the SF frame (without any extra backstrap). Both are good choices!

I prefer Gen 3.The only thing I do not like about Gen 4s is the new hand grip pattern. It just doesn't feel right.I like that you can change the magazine release button on the Gen 4s.

My only 19 is a gen 3....so I can't vouch for a gen 4....all I can say is, I have never had any problems at all with the gen 3. I have changed to a NY1 trigger spring and a 3.5lb Ghost connector, and have extended slide lock and magazine release....it is my main cc pistol.

3 day wait? It's a seven day wait here in rhode island. By the time the seventh day comes its like a 5 year old seeing Santa's present on Xmas morning lol.
