Default Glock 19 Gen 4 trigger

How can I improve the trigger, take off some pounds and make it smoother?

Choose one at glocktriggers.com. These are complete drop-in trigger assemblies. Only for sports though.

Doing small parts separately may be cheaper but often leads to problems and/or doesn't work.

Get a glock oem minus connector and just polish some the internals. (25c trigger job). Pretty easy to smooth out the trigger. Or just go shoot a 1000 rounds and you'll be good to go.

Ditto on the shoot 1k rounds. I would wait to do a trigger job until the gun is worn in a bit. U may be surprised at the difference.

A friend replaced my Steel safety plunger with a Lightning Strike Tungsten Safety Plunger (G17) It really helped the smoothness. Also now I am up to 2675 rounds shot through my G17. ( I think it's broken in nicely)

A word of caution - a more pleasant trigger does not necessarily mean better shooting. Glock is one pistol that benefits little from trigger upgrades. I have invested a good deal of money into learning this - despite what the vast cottage industry would have you believe.
