Default Glock 19/Gen 4

I placed an order for a Glock 19/Gen 4 about a month and a half ago from a local gunshop. How long does it usually take for a firearm to come in??? This will be my first firearm, so I'm a bit excited about it, but I dont think the wait should be that long. Any ideas?? Should I order it online?? Any suggestions??

Thank you in advance!

My local gun stores have Glocks all models in stock. They are easy to find. Im suprised your lgs takes more than a month to order it.
Try glockstore, glockmeister, rockyourglock or budsgunshop. By ordering online you will get a faster shipping, 2 days mostly. As handguns are required to ship by overnight. And you dont have to pay tax too! Lol. You only have to pay transfer fee ($25 in my area).
To tell you the truth, if i were you, i'd cancel the order and get the newly released limited edition Glock in Flat Dark Earth (FDE) color. Check out lipseys.com. It costs the same or $20-30 more. I just got the 19 & 23 both Gen4. These 2 guns will join my other Glock 19 Gen4 and Glock 26 NIB-X. Heard of the Glocks in OD color? That OD was limited and discontinued. Prices went up even for used ones. So take your chance to get the FDE now.
Hope this helps you. Just my 2c btw.

Heres what they look like. Taken with my phone so actual color in person might be slightly different. Both are brand new, havent fired any shots yet.
The top is the G23 Gen4 FDE. Just finished installing Meprolight night sight, extended mag release, grip plug, 3.5lb connector, extended slide lock and extended slide release an hour ago.
Bottom is the G19 Gen4 FDE. Still in stock condition. Still thinking whether or not i should keep it as investment or keep it. As i already own the black Gen4. Lol

Welcome to FTF! You might want to stop by the introduction forum for new members and introduce yourself.
I usually buy my firearms online via Bud's Gun Shop. And that usually arrives less than two weeks with much satisfaction.

My buddy just ordered a kel-tec pf9 and it came in a week later but after it arrives then he had to wait the 3 day waiting period...I think that it should have arrived by now..You might wanna call them or go get your money back if it doesn't arrive by the end of the week at least I would if I were you.
