Default Glock 17 gen 4

Recently got my glock 17 from my wife as a present took it out shoot it the first time felt very crisp and snappy compared to my gen 3 26. I have taken it to the range several times since and I noticed the stiffness has mostly gone away except the trigger. Anyone else think the gen 4's have a stiffer trigger? I know they are made with the same components.

The trigger bar is different from the Gen 3 to Gen 4. The Gen 4 has a bump on the side of the piece that engages the striker block.

I really like Glocks, I actually just got a new one yesterday, Gen 3 19, but I can't stand the Gen 4s. I had a Gen 4 17 and sold it. I don't like the trigger, I don't like the mag release or the texture on the grip. If I want extra texture I'll just stipple my Gen 3s.

Thanks Fred I actually agree with what you said. I hate the extra texture on the grips.
