Default Glock 17 gen 3 pro mags

I'm curious to know if ProMag is suitable for idpa and self defense. If they are good for just idpa or self defense i am just wondering. Thanks

Never used them in my Glock, but I've not had great luck with pro mag in general

Most Glock mags are affoardable enough, that I've never tried Pro-mags in my Glocks. I generally find that Pro-mags have too sketcthy of a rep in other guns that I avoid them. I had one for my Beretta 92. I don't even use it for competition. I used to use it for doing failure drills.

ProMag makes a couple of things well. Their AK mags work and their AR-15 9mm mags WORK. EVERYTHING else is too sketchhy for Self Defense

I use them in my m&p 9mm and have never had problems. Unlike glock, m&p factory mags are at times difficult to find so pro mag fills a niche.
