Default Which generation Glock is best?

Is there a generation of Glock that is recognized as being the best or a generation that had issues etc?

Anything that begins with a G and ends in a number is good.

I have a gen4 G21 and I wouldn't trade it for any other. For some reason I shoot best with it.

Well I have Gen 2,3 and 4 and like them all. I'm getting to like Gen 4 the best. I'd expect most people would still like Gen 3 the best.

The slim grip of the gen 4 feels better (to me) than the older gen's. And if it's too slim for you, the medium back strap will make it the size of a gen 3 grip.

The gen4 has some updated features for every shooter plus you can change the mag release to work for a left handed shooter. I think the RSA has also been upgraded and there has been a voluntary recall/ trade out of the RSA in the early Gen4 models.
