I think a lot of the problems with the Gen4s were the early production models that have been addressed. Something with the extractor.

My personal preference is gen 3 full size and gen 4 comp/subcomp. Reasoning for that is due to mag release. My paws get in the way on the smaller frames when trying to eject the mags. Just something you may want to look at as well when you go to buy one. It may or may not be an issue for you.

Gen 4 has better ergonomics (Really)

Still unsure which lol..but lots of great advice! If I go for a g-22 or 21 I'll probably try for a Gen 3.

In the G17 & G19 the Gen 4's fit my hand better.
