Default G19 mag follower

Went shooting today and one of my KCI mag followers has started to come loose and go over the top of the mag. Also a one of the factory G19 mags is doing the same but not as much. I would say a couple hundred rounds through each mag. Is this normal?

It is bizarre in a Glock factory mag. The Glock mags are extremely strong. Post a photo of the Glock mag with the follower sticking out if you can.

Weird indeed. I've got some fairly high round counts on several mags. Never had that problem. Did break a floor plate once.

I shoot a couple hundred rounds in a day. I have never seen anything like that. You can buy a follower for the Glock magazine.

(iPhone camera doesn't want to focus)

It turned out to be the KCI only, I'll buy a GLOCK follower and run it till it's dead. It looks like I can just push it back in and load it but I'm concerned after the last round it may cause a bigger problem.

I would stick with factory Glock magazines. What impressed me about factory Glock magazines is day one. You have to use the loading tool with a lot of pressure to fill the magazine to break it in. Just load the magazine to full capacity then let it sit for a couple days. If you still have problems getting the magazine full, tear it down and wash it with your favorite dish washing liquid.

The reason I am impressed by the factory magazine is probably put over 30 lb of pressure on it and I have never broke a magazine.
