I think this was a fluke and user error but figured I would post anyway. I was teaching my 11 year old daughter to shoot so I would place a single round in the magazine and hand it to her. She inserted mag, racked slide and "click". When I went to clear the round it was in the chamber backward. I'm thinking maybe it was because there was only on round in the mag or she didn't rack the slide properly?
Not to be insulting but due to the fact that you were paying strict attention to your daughter with the pistol and certainly safety could you have possibly put it in the Mag backwards. And the other way it could possibly happen is in fact in the racking the slide to load the round if she possibly hesitated somewhere along the way closing it. If she pulled it all the way to the rear and let the slide go forward on it's own it is highly impossible that the round would have flipped backwards. As far as the first comment I have done crazy stuff like that myself. So certainly not throwing rocks. By the way I am thrilled that you are taking time with your daughter to teach her to shoot and the love of our shooting sport.
I just spent two days last week with two of my grandchildren shooting and it was one of the best times in my live! I call it making memories!
The Constitution is not an instrument for the Government to restrain the people. It is an instrument for the people to restrain the Government!
Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom."
